FISH TREE YOGA

Inversion Workshop: 2-4 p.m. March 28, 2010

Most Yogis say their biggest challenge in their practice is mastering inversions.  Not only do the poses require strength physically, they conjure up fears and limitations we set within ourselves calling for our internal strength to make an appearance. 

If you are like most practitioners, your inversions could use some work.  Jan Atkins, certified BPVY teacher, will address the mechanics of poses such as Headstand, Shoulder Stand, Tripod Headstand, Plow, Forearm Stand and restorative inversions such as Legs Up The Wall Pose.

Jan will instruct students on prop use, prep poses to strengthen shoulders and improve balance, practice variations and counter poses.

Cost is $25 a person, and pre-registration and pre-payment are required. Book early. Space is limited.
